Superpowers for Reddit started as a control center for a site that is equal parts encyclopedia, argument, and time sink. The extension does not try to replace Reddit. It sits on top of it: summarize a post in a human voice, take the temperature of the comments, check the claims, explain the chart, file the post, and — when needed — mute ads, hide NSFW, and pause the feed.

There is a second design constraint, and it is not a slogan. We do not have Superpowers application servers, and we do not collect your Reddit data. AI runs through the Gemini key you paste from Google AI Studio. Collections live in Chrome. A lifetime license costs $5 and lifts the daily AI cap. That is the whole business.

The product is independent. It is not a Reddit or Google project. Layouts on reddit.com change; we keep the overlay aligned as best as a small tool can.
